FRP Liquid Nails Work Great
We are doing a remodel in our kitchen and put up fiberglass reinforced panels. We used the Liquid Nails FRP on our panels and the adhesive has held amazing well! The adhesive protects the panels from chemical effects and was easy to apply.
How do you glue fiberglass to wood?
You can glue fiberglass to wood with an epoxy resin. Epoxy will glue almost any materials together and is the adhesive of choice when gluing fiberglass to wood. Epoxy has the advantage of spreading across the two surfaces and filling in gaps that are visible between the fiberglass and wood.
What glue will stick to fiberglass?
Two component epoxies – Permabond two part epoxies cure at room temperature and provide strong bonds to fiberglass. Structural acrylics – MMA grades such as TA4246 are very strong carbon fiber bonders.
